Project Governance Workshops
As the need to transform the public sector continues to increase, more and more staff who work in front line services are finding themselves members of Project Teams with responsibility for identifying and implementing new ways of working.
Having received no training in the principles of project management and being generally unfamiliar with the concept of governance, uncertainty over their role can contribute to poor project implementation.
Equip staff with a basic knowledge of where projects can go wrong, and the controls that need to be put in place to avoid these pitfalls, and the chances of a successful project implementation increase.
At AGS we are developing an hour long workshop designed to provide staff with no experience of project governance with some basic training in project management techniques.
The workshop will highlight key areas of risk when working as part of a Project Team, and offer practical suggestions on how these can be managed.
